Junoon 720p Dual Audio Movies - Junoon is a 1971 Hindi film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, produced by Ramesh Sippy, and written by Salim-Javed. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. The movie was primarily shot in black and white but it has experienced various colours through the years. The film was well received critically but did not achieve much commercial success at the time of its release. Twenty-three years later it achieved cult status, primarily due to its legendary soundtrack composed by Nitin Sawhney with lyrics penned by Gulzar that gave Indian pop music its popularity worldwide. It is the story of an unhappy couple (Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) and Ritu (Jaya Bachchan)) who are forced to get married to each other. Their marriage is an unhappy one, with both partners drifting apart; Ravi becomes involved in revolutionary politics and he becomes a target of the police. The movie was remade in Telugu in 1974 by name "Chilakamma Cheppindi" starring Krishnam Raju, Vanisri, Jaishankar. The film was also remade in Kannada in 1979 by name Naa Ninna Mareyalare starring Vishnuvardhan, Kalpana and Tiger Prabhakar. After his son (Amitabh Bachchan) gets married to Ritu (Jaya Bachchan), an unhappy Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) indulges in revolutionary activities and he becomes a target of the Police. He then joins hands with Alok (Vinod Khanna). The movie was initially made in black-and-white but became colourised on the insistence of the producer.The soundtrack was composed by Nitin Sawhney with lyrics penned by Gulzar, this song had become popular ever since, even after the movie itself got forgotten. Later set to tune for other movies, it is still considered as one of the most iconic tunes for Indian pop music worldwide.
